Your right, Google doesn’t say “Use our apps, or you can’t use Android”. Android is open source. Samsung can use it however they want. However, what Google does say is, “Use our apps, or you don’t get the Google Play store on your phones”. And without the Google Play store, their sales will drop like a rock. It’s an

I never said they didn’t have their own store. But the Samsung store isn’t what sells phones. The Google Play store is. The whole reason Google is under investigation is because they’ve gotten so big that it’s to the point where OEMs will no longer be able to sell phones without making deals with Google - deals that

I use CleanMyMac to regularly keep my Mac running smoothly. About once a month, I'll run it to see if there's any junk files or programs I no longer use. It can even clean up browser extensions.

I agree. D'Onofrio is easily the best actor in this show.

Only if they don’t care about not having the Google Play store on their phones. And without that, there’s no way they’ll sell any phones. As part of their agreements with Google, OEMs are increasingly being bullied by Google to put more and more Google apps and less of their own apps on their devices in order to be

The actor didn't do it in one take. When he goes into the side room, it's actually his stunt double that comes back out. Then towards the end of the fight, the stunt double goes into a room, and it's the actor that comes back out.

Won’t matter to me what the commercial is advertising. I mute the TV and browse my phone while commercials are playing.

Apple isn’t telling other manufacturers what to put on their devices. That would be like investigating Samsung for putting S Health on their phones.

It’s open source. Google doesn’t really own it. Google is forcing OEMs to preinstall Google apps. Should Samsung be forced to put Hangouts or Gmail on their phones? According to the EU, Samsung should be allowed to take an open source OS and put whatever they want on it.

It’s reportedly going to be mostly focused on stability and performance improvements - which it desperately needs. Similar to Snow Leopard for OS X. Besides, iOS 8 was the “feature” overhaul.

The fact that you even have to carry around an Anker shows that it IS an issue. I’m not saying 4k should never be on phones, but we’re about 5-6 years away from it being at all beneficial without it using too much battery. Improve battery tech first, THEN put in a ridiculous 800 ppi display. If you want a 5-minute 4k

Because large displays need a higher pixel density. And because TVs don’t have tiny batteries that need to power the display. 4k on a phone is just a waste of money and battery life.

Apple stopped selling the 5 when the 5s/c came out. The 5c was designed to be the “previous generation” for people who didn’t want to spend money on the 5s.

The 5c was actually successful for what it was supposed to be. It was never meant to be a big seller. It was for people who didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a flagship phone. Apple normally drops the price of the previous iPhone when a new one comes out. This time, though, instead of dropping the price of the 5

There could be a number of things that caused that. Maybe by the time you joined the military, you had grown out of the awkward teenage acne phase. Maybe you had a better/healthier diet in the military. Maybe you got more sun in the military. All of these things could lead to healthier skin.

TV shows are one of my main draws to Netflix. Yeah, the movies they have are usually B or C rated crap, but they have a ton of good shows. And I like almost all of their original content - House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Marco Polo, Bloodline, Daredevil, etc.

This. I’m fairly moderate in my political views so I don’t consider myself right or left, but I do consider myself progressive. There are a lot of people on the left who are not progressive.

I signed up for HBO Now a couple days ago when it first released and while it’s nice, there’s no way it’s worth $15/month. I’ll keep it for a few months while GoT is on, then I’ll cancel it. It just does’t have anywhere near the content to justify being almost twice the cost of Netflix.

At this price point, you’re definitely better off getting the Air. But the price will drop considerably in the next couple years. Remember, the original Air started at $1,700 and now you can get them for under a grand. The same will happen to this.

The Mota Ring actually looks pretty promising. But it’s way too thick.
