Honestly, the only reason anyone is talking about the Google Calendar app is because it's made by Google. But as an actual calendar app, it's sub-par at best. The month view is worthless, no 7-day week view, no smart entries, no task management, no landscape mode, no widget, etc. It's got a nice looking UI, but

I can't wait for Force Touch to be implemented into the magic mouse.

A lot of people would be fine with only 2 ports. My parents, for example. The only thing they ever plug into their laptop is their printer. This thing isn't for power users.

If it ran Windows or OS X, it would be an awesome laptop and well worth the price. Chrome OS is not worth $1000, no matter how good the hardware running it is.

I try to keep it under 5-6 tabs. If I have an article open that I want to read later, I'll just save it to Safari's reading list. If I haven't touched a tab in 15 minutes, it gets closed. All my most visited sites are organized in bookmark toolbar folders so they're just two clicks away anyway.

And my house is fireproof because I have a smoke detector...

Not liking that month view. So far, no calendar app has beaten Calendars 5.

Seriously? Watch the keynote. It's blatantly obvious what he means. He even uses a Palm Pilot as an example of what he didn't want the iPhone to be. The quote is constantly taken out of context, just like it was here.

True, but he wasn't wrong about the stylus. Would you buy a smartphone that required a stylus and wouldn't work with your fingers? He didn't say no one would ever want a stylus. He said no one wanted to need a stylus just to use their device.

He wasn't wrong. He meant no one wants a stylus as a main input device. Not that no one would ever want a stylus for more professional needs.

"plus, that's more or less the price you pay for HBO when you have a cable subscription anyway."

This. I know the actual dress is blue and black, but that's just not what I see in the photo. There isn't a single black pixel on that dress in THAT photo. It has to do with the crappy lighting the photo was taken in. I also brought the damn photo into Photoshop and there wasn't any black in there whatsoever. It

This. A bluetooth dongle is cheaper and you can put it on your next umbrella after that one breaks.

"They raise their prices because they can and people continued to pay."

Wow, you truly are clueless. Why do you think private universities have nearly double the tuition costs as public universities? I guess the lack of government involvent didn't help those students. And the increasing cost of college has to do with the growing demand of enrollment, not the government.

Holy hell you're dense. No, it's not a right. Neither is having a home. Neither is going to college. Does that mean we shouldn't try to give every single American the opportunity to buy a home or to go to college?

Millions are unable to succeed the way internet has been. Stop thinking your personal situation is the same for everybody. There are entire schools, entire towns, without access to internet because Comcast won't build lines in their area and they sue the city when they try to provide their own internet lines to

Wrong. These IPS's already have the cable and infrastructure layed out in these cities. They sue to prevent competition. And they win because of State laws - the same laws that the FCC just banned.

For fucks sake. We don't need clothes or houses to survive either. We can all go live naked out in the woods.
