I’m also voting for him if the he’s the nominee, but I hope he’s not.

I really hate Bloomberg and I think as a president, he would pursue a largely center-right agenda, with maybe a couple of exceptions. I sympathize with your position, but if it came to it (I sincerely hope it doesn’t,) I think I would vote for Bloomberg over Trump. Bloomberg at least believes climate change is real

Nah. Trump is still way worse. Bloomberg is what used to be called a moderate Northeastern Republican but which now no longer exists because the Republicans went so far to the right, and even then on things like abortion he never fit in with the Republicans. He’s further to the left than some Southern Democrats.

Cool, how many times have you acted on those liberal social views and voted for a Democrat?

+1 for the zillion times you’ve spoken to a person who says they’re fiscally conservative but then tries to reassure you/themselves they’re not actually horrible with “but I’m liberal on social issues. Cool, how many times have you acted on those liberal social views and voted for a Democrat?

Wait... an organization for marlins decided to advertise with “white lives matter” and “blue lives matter?” It sounds more to me like some right wing troll wanted to find some sham front to use those two anti-BLM phrases and just asked themselves “hmmm, what’s white and blue?” Honestly, it was probably a 50-50 shot

I’m vegetarian, not vegan, but I don’t really care if my food is cooked alongside meat. I want there to be a sustainable use of resources, and cooking veg in the same place as meat seems like it is likely a more efficient use of energy rather than heating two separate grills.

If you can’t figure out whether or not it’s sarcasm, I can’t really help you.

Ugh, why can’t victims of sexual assault just talk about sexual assault at a time that’s more convenient for me as a person who’s never experienced it, such as never? Why must I be forced to consider the humanity of others? When will this nightmare end for me?

“Nobody thinks their period will be blue.”

As a fellow Warren supporter, this is the correct take. I don’t doubt that Bernie made remarks about the electability of a woman candidate, because he was probably saying what we’ve all thought in the wake of 2016: wait, is this country too sexist to elect a woman? I personally believe it isn’t, which is part of why I

Warren has been tagged a “liar” by the GOP for a while now. Any story on Fox is accompanied by dozens to hundreds of people calling her a liar.

A yes, Republicans are concerned about fairness and the treatment of women. So concerned that they fail to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, defeat legislation promoting equal pay for equal work, and loosen Title IX protections for campus assault, deny a woman’s right to make decsions regarding her own body,

People hear “fetal abnomalities” and they think Down Syndrome or cleft palate. Most people have no idea how bad birth defects can get. They have no idea what kind of living hell they may be sentencing a child to by allowing it to be born at all.

It’s really the compassionate thing to do.  It should be the woman’s choice though.  I can not imagine the trauma that would happen at being forced to carry a baby to term that would be born only knowing suffering in it’s short life.

It’s not “imperfect” it’s nonviable, that baby is not going to be a living human being for very long or not at all. Sure, I suppose you could force the individual to continue with the pregnancy, then go through the medically dangerous and emotionally harmful process of giving birth to a baby that won’t live, while

Thanks for sharing. I’m sorry you had to go through that. It fucking sucks!! Like someone in the piece said - it’s rage-inducing.

More stories like this. One thing I’ve noticed in the abortion debate is that people often bring out “rape, incest or the mother’s life being in danger” as the holy trifecta of reasons anyone should condone abortion. Fetal abnormalities are almost always missing, but they are the reason behind the vast majority of

I had an abortion at 20 weeks for a chromosomal abnormality and I cannot imagine having to go through it in a state that refuses to treat women like human beings. I made the decision based on conversations with my OB and a doctor who specializes in chromosomal abnormalities. They were able to give me the information I
