He’s like that friend who bought a rug and a lamp and got a lot of compliments and now she’s an interior decorator.
This is the perfect response for how much it’s gonna burn her attention-seeking ass up.
I was REALLY skeeved by a supercut of all the “sick burns” that were thrown at her during the roast. It was all sexist bullshit making fun of her looks...like...THERE’S SO MUCH MATERIAL THERE, WHY GO FOR THE SEXIST HACK JOKES?!?! I know we all hate her, but it doesn’t make that shit ok.
I dunno, can we really use the word “choice” when children under the age of 15 are part of it?
They left it outside in the parking lot, where all of it—the T-shirts, the CDs, the patriotic posters—was stolen while the girls performed their act, Popick says.
Wait - what?!?! What movie was he naked in?!?! I am asking for a friend. And is this movie on Netflix? I . . my friend has Netflix.
lol yah riiiiiiiiiiiight like anyone believes that TOM is the one who wanted to be public. sure.
The Bottleworks is great too, and the tour of the factory which is cool, but it is much further from Mr. Smuttins’ family’s house, so we go to the Taproom more often when we visit. We went to the summer festival at the Bottleworks this summer and had a great time though. :-)
Lol! Schlafly makes a damn good beer, too.
DO buy beer from Schlafly - her nephew owns it, and he is a huge Democrat and supports the arts and Forest Park and the STL public schools and so many other wonderful things in STL. His aunt was a hateful old woman, but he is the opposite! Give him a hand, and enjoy some great beer!
Yes! The taproom in downtown STL. It is a great place for a sampler and some food!
Uuuugh. The Schlafly beer brand has done more for St. Louis in one month than her nastygrams have done in decades. Good riddance to bad rubbish. And hoist a Schlafly beer tonight in a toast! ;-)
Their beer is great. The pale ale was my go-to beer when I lived in the STL. If your a pumpkin ale fan, theirs is terrific, but best from the tap, rather than bottled. I don’t personally know Tom Shlafly, but I believe all he has in common with his aunt is a last name.
Yes. They have two locations, a bottling plant that houses a restaurant, and the actual brewery that also houses a restaurant. Good stuff.
She was indeed a horrible woman, and the damage she did to the lives of women was incalculable. I was active in the movement to pass the ERA in the 80's, and every interview I did seemed to require to me to comment on her. She was a great diversion tactic, because instead of being asked about what the ERA would do for…
Do try it! The nephew is quite liberal. Remember, she married into the family so how she thought she had priority over the name is beyond me! The nephew does wonderful, liberal commentary for the local NPR station and the brewery had its own garden for the restaurant, going local, years ago. Drink their beer and…
Yup. She sued her... nephew I think for trying to use the Schlafly name for his brewery because being associated with alcohol was unchristian and would hurt her image. She lost.
They didn’t love her. She was suing them for using the Schlafly name for their own businesses.
