I am so very excited for this show and this trailer is only elevating my expectations for it as well as my girl crush on her.

Jowls was unfair. It was much more the Dramatic Posing on a Yacht that made me cringe.

I am realizing from the replies that this comment came out harsher than I intended. I really meant just that (1) the staging of that photo seemed a little lower rent than I usually expect from Kardashians, and (2) it is usually unflattering to be photographed from below. I agree she looks amazing for her age.

She looks great for her age! I’m not hating on her for being in her 60s and looking as good as she does (obligatory note that the value of a woman is not defined by her beauty). I just mean shooting anyone from that angle is super unflattering - hence why people who take selfies do it from an angle above, rather than

I can’t cringe any harder at that wannabe glamour shot of Kris Jenner. I would expect something like this from one of the RHONY ladies, but not Kris. Based on the thousands of photos Kim stages for herself, Kris should at least know to be photographed from above so her face isn’t half jowels.

This is part of the actual #MAGA narrative on twitter right now - that Don Jr was just heroically trying to expose Hillary’s criminal connections to Russia. As such, he is a savior and the liberal media has been proven fake news again. I’d say the mental gymnastics is unbelievable but it is not. It’s totally

People returning rescue dogs because they are surprised that a dog in general is so much work make me see red. And then Lena goes and gets two puppies, clearly having learned nothing? It’s such a myth that puppies are going to be easier. My close friends have a pure bred they’ve had since he was a pup, always went to

100% agree. Her statement that “his aggression wasn’t consistent” reeks of BS to me. Dogs tend to be consistent, dog owners, much less so with their training. Both shelter mutts and purebred pups can develop aggression issues, and it requires a lot of work and a LOT of consistency. Which is what a responsible dog

I haaaaate going through security in bare feet. I normally tip-toe if I have to do that.

I totally hear where you’re coming from, and if it were Pence I would be way more likely to attribute Puritanical motives. Even though it may be questions in the hallway, I just don’t think asking for close toed shoes and a cardigan is outrageous if you’re in the House building. At my office, men aren’t supposed to

Who knows, he might just have the attitude that he wants things business formal. I’m not ruling out that he’s being crappy, and his office should have given notice of this policy change, but I don’t think it’s an unfair policy.

Hi Roo - I may not be following your point. By all means, wear a sleveless dress to work in the summer (particularly in the stifling D.C. humidity) and then just have a cardigan or jacket in your bag to throw over it.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, I am also a female attorney who is rarely in court. I absolutely agree Megyn Kelly should be able to wear what she wants on her show, or even on the Capitol steps. I also agree that tossing women reporters out without notice that the dress code had changed (or that a policy previously

Ehh, per the update it sounds like this policy may not be new. I could totally see Pence aghast at lady shoulders, but less so with Ryan. As I mentioned in another post on this thread, I work with some guys who just prefer more conservative business attire for both men and women.

Maybe I’m turning into an old, but I tend to agree that attys shouldn’t wear sleeveless dresses or open-toed shoes in court. You have to wear a jacket regardless of gender.

Yeah, I have two minds about this. Pretty sure the majority of female attorneys I know wouldn’t wear open toe shoes or sleeveless dresses in court. My firm isn’t super conservative and I wouldn’t wear sandals to work. But if this is just Ryan’s arbitrary decision (as opposed to a policy in writing in an employee

Agreed. I would think that it’s not a very high bar to make a showing that these photos were intended to be private, hopefully this statute has been interpreted enough to provide some useful case law on that.

I think there’s some understanding of that. I’ve read a few articles on this mess which have had CA attorneys familiar with this law weigh in, and a lot of them seemed to think Chyna would have a pretty good case. Also, one said that just because she “liked” one of the photos on Instagram, that shouldn’t have a legal

I thought they did the slap as a prank? One in very poor taste that wasn’t funny, but I didn’t think that was real. He’s obviously still a total garbage person, just adding context here.
