I learned today one of my good work friends (a white guy) isn’t voting, and isn’t even sure if he’s registered. His logic was we are in a blue state and our votes don’t matter. I was slack-jawed. My work friends and I have been going on and on for WEEKS about registering and early voting and he doesn’t even care. Has

Those contacts were insane. I like her hair that super dark shade though.

Re: Shay- I guess he didn’t come home and stopped responding to her texts a few days ago (but has since resurfaced), Scheana shut off his credit cards and according to “sources” he also drained their checking account. She has been suspiciously quiet about it on Twitter/Insta- I also read that filming is underway on

This election has been so wretched and all-consuming, I’m actually okay that my favorite Bravo-lebrities have to keep mum on their political beliefs. And yes, Sandoval’s silver-streaked hair is hilarrible.

The whole rejection of science/math as if they are liberal spin is so disconcerting.

I watched this episode last night and it was a great encapsulation of what HRC has been through, and how the media/societal pressures have been trying (with some early success) to bring her to heel for decades. It was also a good/infuriating reminder that HRC is just one example of the women who have, and continue to

I was thinking an open thread during the day would also be great. It will consist of me posting various rephrasings of “I’m excited, but also extremely nervous” every half hour.

“I’m not completely sure what I’m doing.” Same Jen, same.

Like Indiana Jones, I don’t have a fondness for snakes. I know a little non-venomous one isn’t going to kill me, but...I don’t need to commute to work with it. *shivers*

I don’t know why I watched that video. It’s all fun and horrifying games until that snake loses its grip (do snakes have grips?) and drops down towards the passengers. All the NOPES in the sky.

What kind of snake it is? The TERRIFYING kind, duh. The kind that slithers out of a damn luggage compartment mid flight, thereby ensuring you are scarred for life and have a winning story to tell at next year’s spooky story contest.

But not, like, *totally* reasonable. Still batty enough to have his PR team require a correction about supporting Black Lives Matter. I do appreciate his “and I should know from crazy” comment, though.

I’m hoping for an Election Day miracle as far as being ungreyed. And also electing HRC, obvs.

One of the other ones that gets me is “except” vs “expect” - I think that was in one of the delightful letters featured above as well. I normally think that is an autocorrection, but I saw “exceptation” written online somewhere recently. Not a word. Sad!

Yes! I was afraid my comment was too mean because clearly these people didn’t get a great education, and I know how fortunate I am to have the book learnin’ that I do, but...no. This election and Trump’s gambit for uneducated white voters is such a testament to the urgent need for better public education in this

You’re really doing the Lord’s work today.

Don’t forget refusing to learn how to spell, or just stubbornly ignoring autocorrect’s suggestions. “I mean ‘definately’ not ‘definitely’ you damn librul spelling software!!!”

Rubio, probably could live with. But Cruz...I always come back to one of my favorite quotes about him from Lindsey Graham: “if you murdered Ted Cruz in the floor of the Senate, and the trial was held in the senate, no one would convict you.”

Right, it’s hard to come up with an apples to apples comparison for a variety of reasons. Just saying that party ID is strong, and Navarro is a Republican strategist to boot, so it’s a big deal to cross party lines (even though, yes, Trump’s horrible-ness should make it easy).

Oooh, Kanye West is a good one for this exercise.
