This is handled so ambiguously on the show, and I guess for good reason. They don't want to acknowledge or deny it. Acknowledging she was raped means the show has to deal with that, which, despite how well the show handles darkness, would be a lot for a 30 minute comedy to take on.

And to make things less weird, we say they got stolen by a demon that your parents know.
