I think the low-key delivery was because the reporter realized there was no reason to be overly concerned. The possible outcomes were all favorable:

Yeah, it’s not like the Jackass guys weren’t pulling this same shit 20 years ago, oh wait.......

The problem is that with all the social media, the biggest douchebags of your generation get the most visible platforms.

Easy, snowflake.

There is a very strong part of me that wants to become this guys friend. Get in the “inner inner” circle of his army. Become a general. A very respected and important member.

FFWD to 2045: “I really think today, in our time of crisis, is the day where Josh Paul transitioned from Candidate Paul to President Paul.”

And then he dabbed.

GSW formed, over time, a team with 4 potential HoFers plus other former All-Stars, due to great scouting, long term planning, and understanding of how the game was evolving.

On top of all that, if he leaves, context matters. No one may factor in a pesky sore ankle in a pivotal loss 20 years from now, but they will look at why Lebron left Cleveland again. If he leaves because the owner is an incompetent pigfucker, that gets rolled into Lebron’s story.

that Golden State(and Miami, etc) aren’t winning “legitimately” the way Jordan did.

Exactly. LeBron has one goal: more rings. He doesn’t get them with Cleveland standing still. He sure as hell doesn’t get them with Gilbert forcing Cleveland to stand still.

LeBron came back to Cleveland to win rings. Gilbert probably intimated to LeBron that Gilbert agreed. Gilbert’s ineptitude and/or

In reality, it’s impossible to tell how his legacy will age since so many parts of it are unprecedented. The rise of the internet age + him being a prodigy that became the best player in the league for multiple years has never been seen before.

Bringing a championship to Cleveland - especially in the way he did it, beating a 73-win team - is more of a professional (and especially personal!) gain than any other place he could have landed in 2014, save maybe Golden State.

There have always been “superteams.” His legacy does not depend on him singlehandedly willing a team of shitty players to a championship. Jordan didn’t do that, Kobe didn’t do that, Russell didn’t do that, Bird didn’t do that, Magic didn’t do that.

I agree. Hell, whenever my wife and I are feeling nostalgic for MI we get a Hot and Ready and Crazy Bread.

there is a ghost haunting that Pillsbury logo :0

You’re right, he is a dough boy. The problem is that like any dough boy, getting you to poke at him is what he is really going for.

yep, and it got it’s shape and depth because the people who invented is used industrial parts trays from auto factories

It does, and I’m sorry that you don’t like ballparks designed for sports to be played and watched instead of parks designed to be a carnival where no one can see the game. Your loss.

Isn’t it the O.co coliseum, as in Overstock.com?
