I think it works better in the film than in the show, but they're used much differently in each one. It has power in the film, and is one of the all-time great openings. I still know people who insist that it is all actually true.

So Stavros found the money that Steve Buscemi left on the side of the road in the movie, right? I can't think of any other reason for that long shot of the ice scraper and the whole "Where's the money from?" thread in tonight's episode.
