The proportions on the Citations never did offend me, although the 4-doors weren't nearly as good as the coupes.

I didn't understand the underlying point of electric parking brakes until I drove a Golf TDi Bluemotion that has an auto-stop/start engine. Bringing the car to a stop on an incline, then having the engine shut off is why they need a way to hold the car still and VW decided they needed to do that in an automated way.
