How is “biological sex” determined?  Genotypically or phenotypically?  If the former, what are XXY folks gendered as?  If the latter, what are hemaphrodites (sp?) gendered as?   Seems like it aint so easy, but I dont expect a bunch of tie-wearing knuckledraggers to understand genetics.

The character was a pilot. When it was explained to them what their mission was to be, they refused to do it. On the grounds that suicide missions can be fatal, and if the generals wanted people to die for their country then they could be the first. Which seems reasonable to me.
