Not sure which nav app you use on your phone, but I drove across the country and back 4 times last year, and Google Maps let me download my entire route map, so at least I wouldn’t lose nav when I had no signal (which, with the routes I took a couple of the times, happened for a good portion of the trip).

Hey, at least they’re not the Lions...

If it’s already built, why not make it low income housing? Park it somewhere, and run it like a mini-city...

I’m actually driving across the state to see them. They’re playing Kalamazoo, instead of Detroit. I may end up needing to book a room somewhere afterwards, it’s so far away lol...

Oh, I love the evolution, it just feels weird. A lot like the 90s ska and punk bands I came of age listening to, when a few of them got big studio production. Like, the Suicide Machines later stuff always sounds....a bit too polished, compared to Destruction by Definition? Makes it sound almost like a cover band...

This whole album is great, but I’ve got to admit that as their production quality has improved over the years, the Mountain Goats albums just...I dunno, sound a bit wierd? Some of their best work is stuff recorded on a boombox. Hearing studio recordings almost seems...unauthentic for them... XD

Apparently they don’t like being called out, either. They put me in the greys for that comment.

If only there was a system...an engine for searching perhaps, where one could research the manufacturer and model number of a device, and be presented with information on what that device is. Perhaps be provided a direct link to information from the manufacturer themselves!

Aww I missed the other ones! Shame GMG sites have gotten so bad. I’ve kinda fallen off even coming here...

Sean from Hot Ones? Is he cool? He seems cool. No scandals, I hope...

This is cold, this is vicious, and I am there for it. They’ll never investigate or prosecute themselves, unless they feel the hurt personally.

That is a gorgeous boat. Definitely odd for it to have a centerboard. Most of S&S’s similar offerings are fixed keel - even among the yawls of similar size (some of which were based off the old America’s Cup boats). Having a centerboard or lifting keel would really help getting into all sorts of places, with something

Ah, Second Life...Ironically named, because nobody who plays it has a first one...

What 50' sailboat has a centerboard? I’ve been around boats all my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a mono-hull sailboat over 30' without a fixed keel. Was it a catamaran?

Regarding the Fiero - I was at the dinner table when an engineering exec for GM told my dad that the hot model outperforming the Corvette was the primary reason they killed it, so...Unless their upper management was prone to wild flights of fancy, I’ll take that over GM refusing to re-engineer a simple firewall...

At parties where I’m allowed to have my own opinion on things, and express it briefly? Absolutely! More fun than your cranky ass is...

No it doesn’t. The shoddy build quality does that. The union jack details that even Mini owners overlook 99% of the time, even when looking right at them, are just pointlessly shoving pseudo-branding in everyone’s faces. Think about how tacky it looks when you see someone driving around with american flags all over

The taillights aren’t. They’re standard kit on the current gen, and end up having your right turn signal lighting up an error pointing left, and vice versa...

The back end looks nice. They need to go back to the drawing board for the rest of it.

They always reek of a designer saying, “Oh...I mean it was just a sketch. Oh you’re actually making it? Uh...an interior? Yeah uh...Can you give me like fifteen minutes? ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck....”
