If I was in the market for an ORV, I could get a much newer, much more capable, much more reliable Wrangler for half this much...

Nobody buys them, because they’re never in stock to buy. Unless you custom order, there are very few models that reliably get ordered by dealerships with a manual. Most people can’t afford to wait 2-3 months for their new car...

Hard to sell what you don’t keep in stock. I looked into buying a Crosstrek a while back, and was told unless I wanted to wait and see when they got one in with a stick, I’d have to custom order. Anyone that needs a car soon ain’t got time for that.

In good shape, these are about $5000 withou the MC40 appearance package. Those awful seats aren’t worth $2000. CP, and that’s from a MINI lover.

First, they’ll make it more expensive to buy a stick, then they’ll use the related drop in sales to justify their desired script of, “people are buying less manuals”, and use that as fuel to cut them out entirely.

Going price for a tuned WRX swap is about $10k, clean. $15k is STI swap money. This thing is CP even if it works well. Especially because it’s about the second ugliest colors you could ever get on an Outback Sport, and it’s got body damage.

How wasn’t he down the moment he intercepted the ball? Does the Pro Bowl have some “you’re not down the first time you completely hit the ground, if you roll and get back up” rule?

Yes, I know, but I’ve had no less than 100 people on this site, every time a post or comment thread about AWD vs snows comes up, treat it like AWD can’t have snows, and that FWD with snows destroys AWD in any conditions. What’s more, when I’ve given examples of how AWD saved me from getting creamed by an SUV (and not

Now playing

7,200lbs is just as hard to stop whether it’s driven by 2 wheels, or 4 - and actually does stop a bit quicker (not that I’m excusing people who buy giant SUVs and assume that makes them invincible in the snow):

People in the 90% of the snowy world where studded tires are illegal, maybe?

Most people don’t even bother with them on 2WD cars, so it’s not just the AWD crowd...

I actually read one of those letters of secession to a friend who wouldn’t shut up about it being a general sense of “states rights” that had nothing to do with slavery. She changed the subject - which was hilarious in the long run, because the subject changed to Iceland, where she said she wanted to move because,

MkIV with high-ish miles, and suspect repairs. Just like yesterday’s Z3 - CP above LeMons price.

Nobody ever believes that situation can happen, in these threads. I’ve told my stories of the same sort of things about two dozen times since I started reading Jalopnik, and pretty much every time people chimed in with how irresponsible that would be of me, or one of the other canned “SNOW TIRES ARE BETTER THAN

With how bad of shape this thing is in, I’d imagine it has the subframe cracking that these were known for, as well. Gotta figure major structural repairs into the price. CP above LeMons price.

You’ll have to be careful about where you vape. They’re REAL picky about smoking and smoking-like stuff on the trains. Like, throw people off the train picky. If you get a sleeper, in the room is the best bet. The room with the bathroom is a nice one, too. It’s the biggest of sleepers, and the ability to have a shower

How competitive is he, with this setup?

A sleeper car gets your meals in the dining car comped. You can still eat there (average restaurant prices, pretty decent food) without a sleeper, plus anyone can buy drinks and other food stuff in the lounge car. On a long trip, the sleeper is well worth it.

The sleeper car is worth its weight in gold, and it gets your meals comped in the dining car!

How then, do you counter the reality that the low rates the super rich enjoy today haven’t promoted growth, or brought investment?
