being from the hometown of the Daddies, I saw the first year or two of the band before moving to Seattle, they were a completely different band. Overall, the transition into swing thing put them on the map. My parents were going to see them and dancing up a storm and that's when I lost hope for them. They tried

My dad watched, URGH! A Music War a few years back. He said he wanted to see what I had been up to all these years. My dad is a good guy. He use to take a truck load of us young punks to obscure houses and halls to see shows in the early 80's. He'd pick us up usually around midnight or 1am and never complained once.

my 13 year old daughter loves Nirvana. She gets to pull the Nirvana vinyl from the collection when her friends are over….trippy to hear those kids singing along. We have a first generation death certificate copy from our friend who was a bike mess in seattle at the time…stopped at Kinkos and ran about 10 copies

she's been going off some sort of deep end for the last few years. Sometimes when a band member flips out, they stop associating with the band, thus ending X as we know it…hoping this is not the case.

I love how everyone is complaining about Jack (what is this a Vice article???), but most likely have the whole White Stripes catalog sitting on a shelf for all their friends to see.

you can take Arcade Fire and Daft Punk and tossem in the river of crap being produced on some levels, but not all (thank goodness)…today.
