Boring logos are good logos. If kids can draw the logo into the sand and dream of owning a Nissan one day, the logo works.

Why wouldn't the Kona compete with the Phony?

The I Pace catapulted Jaguar into Norway’s top 10 car brands. And it created a lot of new Jaguar-sceptic people, rf. the NDA protected buybacks.

The Lead is a great appliance:

I’d love to see your response though. Something like that?

...and where do I find the book version of this? Great writeup!

Now playing

Norway has a decent hydrogen station network and especially Hyundai’s H car has sold okay. But last year, a station outside of Oslo exploded. Nobody got hurt and it was caused by hoomæn stoopidity, but every other station in the country closed, too. Meanwhile, our prime minister is talking about how hydrogen remains

Oh, you’re right, wrong number. It said “500km”, which, to do in two hours, needs an average speed of 250kph. Gonna edit that mistake out of my comment above now.

Wait, quality Chevys?

I understand your point, which has been the bane of GM for decades, as you yourself point out. But there is one basic assumption that you make, which GM tops don't: That the name "Chevy" or Chevrolet conveys some sort of quality notion. To me, it doesn't. GM is cheap-everything, which is good if you want a cheap car

Yeah, one of those feelgood images with text made the rounds last week stating they drove “250kms in two hours” and "reaching top speeds of 230kph". The thing is, 500 divided by two is 250. Huh? And then comes the drone footage. That stuff doesn't do itself. And if time is of the essence, you just don't film it.

Dude, you could even have stayed on-brand:

Dæng, and us plebs strive to maintain 2-3 cars. Baffling, interesting and absolutely worth the read.

I have really nothing of value to add, sort of bustling through these comments, but what a glorious article and always perfectly written. “Acropolis-themed lunar colony", sure. More of that, please. Maybe a true in-depth analysis of a more common trait: Profile chrome stripes. Do they need to start at the fender? How

13k$ lost to thin air in one year. I have had 10 cars so far, venerable classics among them, and none cost me 13k$ up front. There certainly are good reasons to buy new cars, too, but, so far, my desire to be financially independent has trumped these consistently.

Two gears, pretty light, almost as wide as it is long...and a V8. I'd say there's a whole lot of experience and information left out in the text above. Spinning out in the rain might just be a feature.

The irony of America firsters in Mercedes and Toyota vehicles is golden. Yes, Toyota may make the "most American" cars, but I'd gather nuance isn't those flag carriers strong suit.

*Poor regulation, not every bit of regulation.

Funny how a niche Japanese player beats the testosterone-drenched US auto industry in building a fullblown retro SUV. This is more violently spot on than the neat Bronco.

Fantasticly well-said. But, to be frank, is there even one (1) HD-anything buyer out there that purchased their product rationally? HD feeds of perceived legacy and human stupidity. This product fits perfectly.
