Which planet is this from? 🤪

Ok, so we go for early morning drug abuse again. This humanity!

With half closed eyes, all I see is a fine blend of Volvo and Porsche design elements finding their own balance. Very impressive! As an owner of Hyundai's first proper attempt at luxury (a 2003 Centennial JS350), I am baffled at how this is worlds apart. Confident vehicles!

Changli sales rep Torchinsky nailed it once again and I thoroughly enjoyed how a respectable elder engineer of the kind everyone automatically listens to hints that he might need to get his own. Jalopnik at its best!

Nice side gig. I have been lucky with selling/buying cars at profits occasionally, but I have never had the balls to do this proper. Does it happen occasionally that you take a loss?

That sounds like the most classic Hollywood movie's script. Just add in some love story.

Just 2-3 weeks ago, and he didn't go into details. The way he said it, I was expecting bribes though, yes. How are you familiar with the topic?

Yes, no system is perfect, really. Germans have tried two tiers, too, and have attempted to row back ever since, and it is much the same here in Norway. We have a decent, cheap healthcare system, but everything dental is payed out of people’s pockets - and expensive. Why are teeth not part of the body? And weird…

“That cuts both ways, or do you just mean for people who vote against what you’ve determined their interests are?”

Well, it’s a funny comeback to attack the person writing a comment rather than saying something with content, but I invite you to try. I’ve been interested in politics all my life, and I am not saying the US should adopt every policy every other developing nation offers (among them proper unemployment and health…

This makes sense, given the all steel floorpan, too. It is still a disappointment - Toyotas get overused in developing countries every day. And they seem to be holding up.

The buyer is living here in Norway and sends cars down. Showed up with cash within the hour. He sends the car to Hamburg, from there to Lagos and “then there should be tolls upon arrival in Nigeria, but no one is paying *that*”, he said, laughing off the dysfunctionality of that system. Very nice and kind guy, and I…

This, exactly. A 2008 Toyota falling apart does not fit the narrative. We just sold our 2002 Camry after it failed tech inspection here in Norway. It took a literal 5 seconds to sell the car to Nigeria. Took the ad down after 4 minutes and 30 people had tried to call or message me, but nr. 1 got it.

Seen from Europe, the way Americans treat themselves in regard to the truths you spill here remain baffling. I just can't get my head around how people can repeatedly vote against their interests.

When you say "people with beards" instead of "men with beards", it conjures up images that will keep me awake tonight.

The Toyota Century is starting to get shipped to Europe and America in some numbers. A few people have experienced failed or unsatisfying auctions, even at BaT, but, generally, prices are up as a market comes alive.

Imagine a society spending so much time, money and effort on refined stupidity. Doomed.

The PSA vans come with so many badges, it’s funny to see one with RAM up front. This is the true Jalop answer. But you should kit it out:

Correction: You would never take the advice those guys give.

You get this was written with a smile?
