Yakuza 4 was my first title in the series and it hooked me completely...

This scene put Yakuza 4 over the top for me. Such a great experience. It's certainly out of context. If you play the game, you'll know what happened on that faithful day.

If there's a better franchise of the past two generations than Yakuza, I haven't played it.
