WoW’s community is a reflection of Blizzard proper. No accountability within Blizzard, no accountability within their games. This became more prominent with the introduction of dungeon and raid finder. Being able to act horrible became common culture.

I have played a little bit of FFXIV, and while I think it’s a good

I think it’s the pinnacle of of his work to be honest, which is saying a lot when you consider what he’s done.

I 100% disagree. Diablo is not the same as Final Fantasy, Skyrim is not Dragon Quest. None of those games are Baldur’s Gate 2. If you don’t want the genres split up, they are merely games, not RPGs, not platformers, not puzzle, just games. And that’s okay too.

Yes, but the defining element of those games is action, not a traditional turn-based system. This is what’s different.

Based on your nameless youth tasked with killing a god..., those are story cliches. Convoluted stories are also stylistic choices by writers. Regarding character creators, have you seen Rust? It’s not

Per the entry for Demon’s Souls, it is an action game. A game isn’t a JRPG because a game is developed in Japan. Wikipedia’s entry for Demon’s Souls states “an action role-playing game. Even on the Playstation preorder page for Demon’s Souls, it states that it is an Action Role-Playing Game for it’s genre.

I think that the idea of role-play is based on the factor that you play as a singular character, not an array of them. And when you spend your time playing a JRPG, you are playing a cast of characters.

I would argue that none of them are JRPGs.

I agree, I don’t know how many hours I’ve sunk into Cities: Skylines, but I’m sure it’s unhealthy. Same goes with Minecraft.

I tend to play a bit of everything, but I do tend to come back to specific favorites, mostly for the same reasons as you’ve stated. Right now is the first time in five years that I’ve been back

Seriously, want to keep using that DVD or HDDVD instead of a Blu-Ray?

Completely disagree, people (parents) flock to where games are cheapest or are most familiar. Physical routinely beats out digital when we look at console games. Especially true when shopping around. Amazon and Walmart are case examples (use the app for Walmart, it’s often lower there and it's the only place they will

On that note, imagine the PS5 as a collector's edition Avengers Tower. I think it would look pretty awesome, to be completely honest.

I think your underestimating the size of the PS5.

Man, he really needs to practice his F-Zero racing.

I want backpacks to expand your player storage. Also, if we sell fish or insects, I want those prices to be registered in the criterpedia. I know that this is easily found online, but seriously it should be in-game.

My family is doing better than most, or so I would assume. My wife is an essential worker with nearly zero chance of being laid off or fired (works in a distribution center), so we are using the money we saved, plus the stimulus that we didn’t expect, and applying it to our basement finish. We figure that it helps us

I prefer it to this day. Played it in December actually.

I think that is dependent on the class you play. Crusader shield bash build was awesome on console. Ranged builds were lackluster though.

Duh, duh, ta duh duh... Duh

They haven't shown an inclination of doing anything outside of the Switch+Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle, unfortunately. We're looking for a decent bundle without Mario Kart 8 for a second console and haven't spotted one yet.

The problem is Google’s target audience already has a console that will play most of those games, if not all of them (PS4, XBOX1, or Switch). That doesn’t even include those of us who have PCs. Combine it with Google’s track record of ditching their own products, and, well, you get the point.
