I agree that there have been some amazing things done with Kinect. The big problem, to my eye, is that most of the coolest things done with Kinect have not involved an Xbox console.

Microsoft created something awesome, to be sure, but I think the original commenter has a point - motion control doesn't seem to be a

"Line of hardcore games"? What might those be exactly?

It was somewhat difficult, but there were ways to mess with people. Training a bunch of strong monsters on their location comes to mind. I don't remember the specifics, but calling for help on a monster that did AOE attacks could be used to mess with a party as well. These practices were off the table amongst

Whatever. Ideas come from people, not companies. And of ideas, there are more than can be counted and attributed, and few can ever be considered truly original. Kudos to the folks who made it work well.

A great idea that was executed very well.

Because both the Rift and Kinect 2.0 already exist? They don't need to spend millions on R&D costs to create something new when the technology is already there to let them do what they need to. The new Kinect is actually very accurate. You'd be surprised if you just tried it yourself. And considering the old one was

Awful floods here yesterday and today. Someone drowned near my Asda trying to rescue a dog. Shut up.

This isn't related, but I want to wish everyone at Kotaku a Happy Holidays! Take the night off Shane!

3DS JRPG Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale is on sale in the 3DS eShop for $4.99 (normal price is $7.99) through 1/2/14. And I don't know if you consider these other games JRPGs, but Crimson Shroud and The Starship Damrey are also on sale for the same price.

It would have been 64 but he rimmed out a five footer.

You realize that in real-life, Boston and Washington have more hills than Reno, Las Vegas, or Central California (settings of the other Fallout games), right?

Thank you, so many people dismissing college and many idiots surely thinking this might be the right path. They are a super minority that striked big because they themselves are fucking genius, so with or without college they would make it big. Not everyone is a genius and college provides a good base to make it into
