It never works out that way. If you and your wife have a baby, both cars need to have four doors. Not until the kid is old enough to strap themselves in is a two door acceptable.

The S5 Sportback does have a rear hatch. And it’s huge! That’s part of the selling point for me.
I’m actually considering the S5 Sportback. Seems to be everything a Jalopnik with a small family could ever want. Minus the manual transmission, but I’ve accepted reality now.
