Yeah I pretty much agree with you. I think the first season is funny enough for what it is. But later seasons, even just the second, vastly improved on it.
Gah, his complete breakdown at the end of the “Family Fight” episode is one of my absolute favorites. That episode doesn’t get enough credit.
Not to mention her latest film is racist AF.

Fascinating--I think season 1 was one of the weaker seasons this show has had. Quite funny, but clearly they were still finding their way. And lacking in Danny DeVito.
This line of thinking keeps a lot of parents in terrible marriages. Kids can and do thrive in ALL types of families.
Yeah . . . Matthew McConaughey telling me something is “very scientific” is my cue to leave.
I addressed that in the article.
Agreed. HR is mostly to protect the company from legal issues relating to employees. If the easiest way to fix a problem is to fire you on an unrelated past offense, they will do that.
HR isn’t there to help employees. Don’t fool yourself. And many individuals don’t have the presence of mind or financial stability to hire a lawyer.
Yeah, that line should be changed to “is there any chance whatsoever this isn’t true?”
Also, [makes-fart-noise-with-hands] with a quick followup of [jack-off motion].
tl;dr
i’ve loved norm forever and i will definitely continue to support him, but you can support someone and still be critical of them being dumbasses.
Nah, it’s fine the way it is. It lets people (who don’t take statements at face value) know how he really feels.
I like Norm too, but he is one of those, “People were tougher in the old days. Today people are wimps!” kind of guys. No Norm, people weren’t tougher in the old days, some people just had to settle for being abused in the old days.
They wanted to do that, but Fallon couldn’t keep himself from giggling and making cute faces.
What a sackless show. The right thing to do here is to take Norm to task for the shitty things he said. But Fallon is incapable of an interview that involves something other playing air guitar, tousling hair and giggling.
Just get rid of the ‘if’ and ‘sounded like’, and I would accept Norm’s apology. I like Norm. But ‘the shitty thing I said sounds like it might have hurt your sensitive feelings and I’m sorry your feelings are that sensitive’ is total bullshit.
