I never thought I'd like the inversed scrolling but I like it so much on my Macbook, I just bought a TrackPad for my iMac.

Actually, a guy I know who works in our local store says the opposite is often true. People go in to buy a high end iPad and actually buy a MBA. Having used one today (11in 128Gb), I would too

Bah, old news.

Sounds like only a small advance over the Folio which was, quite honestly, the worst consumer electronics product I have ever had the displeasure to try

Bottom line is they just weren't selling any more. Anybody who went in to look at them paid the extra for a metal one or a MBA

Not a new one but "refurbished" (ex-display) are going cheap

No they haven't. Only 10 of the patents have been looked at

And on Newton before that but it isn't relevant to this case

The hundreds and thousand of phones that have used it since the have licensed it (MS, Palm, etc). Google used it without licensing

And another one when they find in favor of Oracle and Microsoft?

These patents relate to Macs originally. They are pretty much core to modern OSs. MS licence them and HP/Palm probably do too.

"Not available in the UK store"

Its beta software.beta software usually has bugs. The difference is Apple only issues betas to developers, Google gives betas to manufacturers to use on devices.

Apple stores are generally very good about repair/replacement even out of warranty.

Same. I got a free bumper but never use it. It is a lovely thing and it is pretty robust provided you don't drop it on concrete.

If it is under a year old take it too the Apple store and say you think it is faulty. They will probably replace under warranty

It is on sale here and has been for several weeks and it is considerable cheaper than an iPhone.

Or "Samsung Galaxy S2, for those who want an iPhone but can't afford one"

I bought one of these (in an airport , I was drunk and had a pocketful of US$ I wasn't going to use) and it is a great device.
