The extended versions were nothing like the books, is the point.

Too late to edit now, but I should have said "popular success". Most people I know liked the theatrical releases fine, but were extremely disappointed when they saw the extended releases.
Very dull I'm sure.
LOTR was a critical success? I guess if you didn't watch the extended versions (don't, they suck)... but even then, it wasn't great.
When I was in the military, you weren't allowed to keep any guns. If you had one you had to put it in the armory and get permission to take it out, and return it as soon as you were finished. As a result there was a very low rate of gun violence (at least on base). Did it stop all violence? Fuck no. Did it stop people…
Sorry, but any journalist that "recommends" a Veloster over a Civic is clearly being paid. The Civic may be boring, but the Veloster looks, feels, and drives like a cheap POS. Not to mention you can't see jack shit out of it (one of the leading design considerations from the Koreans nowadays for some reason).
You need to get out more, man.
If there's one thing Kotaku has taught me, it is that most of my fellow gamers, and indeed the gaming industry, and ESPECIALLY the gaming press, has never grown up, and probably won't for a while.
Wow you are a horrible person.
Pretty much exactly how I feel.
Lindsey Lohan is not self destructing, she's merely flowering into her full coked-out self. Once she's done molting she'll be... well... still super dead, but at least she won't be a tired square. Amirite?
It doesn't look that good is what I'm saying. I'm also skeptical of a car that gets the warranty voided if you drive it as intended.
And enjoy lag?
Well you clearly didn't major in anything that touched on English. I do like how you assume anyone who disagrees with you must be a social studies major, what an odd fascination. Perhaps you would allow me and my psych buddies to make you a study project?
That was hot.
That shit is horrible! I liked Mad Love better (if only for the somewhat muted soundtrack and the fewer amounts of 'look at me, I'm so funny!' moments).
If your daddy paid for college for you, congrats; you're the type of entitled idiot who has zero real world experience and knows nothing. People who've actually had to work from a young age (started at age 8 myself) have a different opinion because we've actually had to deal with real life.
You must be a 1st year econ major because your grasp of the subject is quite appalling.
