The ‘think of the children’ thing is kind of bullshit, though

That is so condescending omg

That’s the most first world thing I’ve ever heard

25 years is the minimum requirement that they would need to serve before requesting for parole. Same as Canada & more than the US.

Uh, 25 years is the required years to serve before requesting for Parole. Pretty much the same as the UK, India and a lot of countries. The US has 15 years requirement actually.

I just purchased a few of what you mentioned! I watched Howl’s Moving Castle & I loved it, so I will start with Miyakazi then the Thin Man movies. I’m pretty sure I have the Seven Samurai DVD somewhere in the house so I will have to search for it

Oh dear god

I have actually been thinking about expanding my Film viewing. Mostly I end up re-watching Golden age Hollywood stuff (James Stewart, Katherine Hepburn oh my god), Robert Altman, Bollywood musicals, Griffith or easily digestible ‘indie’ films. I would appreciate any suggestions!

Lena Dunham’s movies are like Woody Allen’s except with women who don’t revolve around Old Man’s boners and without his tired ass attempts at class criticism. I liked Tiny Furniture. It’s a lot more incisive and creative than idk, the last dozen of Woody Allen’s movies.

Barbara Jean makes me cry every single time. In fact, other than Popeye & Tanner ‘88, I think I’ve watch all of his movies. Mash is

oh dear

lol he is

I’m so sorry for comment bombing you. I just happened to watch Gosford Park yesterday night, and then watched 3 Women with his audio commentary on. I don’t know why people keep riding Woody Allen’s dick for having ‘strong’ women in his movies. We don’t need STRONG women in movies, we need COMPLEX women, which Altman

Robert Altman is EVERYTHING

THIS. SO MUCH

I love hearing about functional marriages

Exactly. That letter knocked the breath out of me.

OH well then thank you _/\_
