Agreed, because they're masters of pacing. I don't even know how they manage to have at least 3 big bads every season and still everyone gets plenty of time to monologue and quip. It's perfect.

What that tells me is they have a looooot of plot planned for the rest of the season. And yet again it must be stated, it's amazing how many balls this show manages to keep in the air and (usually) maintain perfect pacing for thirteen freaking episode seasons.

I don't ge- ohhhhhhhhhh.

hahaha, that whiny-voiced "grandma!" has been an ongoing joke in my family literally since we were kids. my sister hates when i do it and it is still delightful. also: "i really DO hate margarine".

that for the greater good thing is SO interesting about clarke and i think it's actually amazing that she didn't even cave for her mom. reminded me of why i loved her so much when most of this season has been meh on the clarke front. along with everything else it's been meh on.

literally except ravi

oh god, i hate s4. when it was first airing on tv, 4 was where i stopped watching it. and when i went through the whole thing a few years ago, it took me a loooooong time to get through it.

this was actually somehow a pretty good episode. the simon-langdon story was actually great, i really feel simon's at his best when he's an awkward outcast.

how do you even know she's angry? she's so expressionless. i actually feel most of these actors are much better than they come across here.

by far the best episode since the pilot. was the make-or-break ep for me, too. although not because of heavy metal ruling.
