This is a country where a portion of the population literally idolizes those who murder in public or try to subvert an election. It’s not actually far-fetched.

I cannot imagine paying a markup on a Nissan Kicks. That’s a staggering revelation.

What I’m saying is that Ricciardo didn’t have time because he reacted too late. I think he could have reacted earlier.

If he braked heavily enough to lock up and go straight off into the wall, then no. He could not have tried to get below Piastri. Doing so would have required Ricciardo to react much earlier than he did.

Man, you can have the discussion without being a jerk.

I did, in fact, watch the onboard.

I’m a fan of his, but this one was self-inflicted. He should have seen Piastri earlier than he did.

Honestly? I think maybe the concept of ownership at all, for many. Cars are getting too damned expensive. The younger half of our country has a very small percentage of the wealth. Car companies need to offer them something compelling or they won’t participate at all.

Tesla has been awarded the JD Power and Associates coveted ‘Least Likely to Catch Fire’ title twice.

We have such a stigma against ‘vinyl’ seats in this country. But you’re totally right. I have two cars with plastic seats, my S123 and my Subaru Ascent. Forty years between them, but they both demonstrate why plastic can make great upholstery.

I am baffled by the claim in this headline. Verstappen has been utterly dominant, yes. But thankfully the TV directors have shown little of him. Instead we see great battles all up and down the field.

Honestly, I kind of hate this post. It has brought out many ‘I hate XXXX vehicle because I hate the people who drive them’ responses, and that’s kind of not why I come to this site.

I appreciate the replies, so I’ll be a little more clear. I’m less concerned about a battery pack outright failing than I am by diminished capacity. For instance, Tesla’s admittedly long warranty only triggers a replacement if the pack falls below 7o% capacity. On a standard-range Model 3, that’s under 190 miles of

It feels a little bit to me like the car industry is going through something a bit similar to the bicycle industry. Unusually high demand/supply tempered them to focus on incredibly high-price offerings, for which demand kind of evaporated.

My family and I stopped at this one last week. It was truly enormous. I didn’t realize it had just opened that week.

Anything to own the libs.

I don’t think I want a garage queen anyway. I’d definitely be interested when you’re ready to sell it.

The Evora is positively on my list. ;)

This was my question they are answering. I did love my RX8s. I actually had three of them.
