People have already learned to associate lack of a grill with electric cars. Additionally, the front fascia is the face of the car. Giving it a different character is totally reasonable.

I could have done without one of the many big three V8s, or maybe the beverage, to make room for the Mercedes-Ilmor 500I Indy engine. 

Probably fixing this. I hit a wall at Pitt Race pretty hard and destroyed the entire left side of the car. Thankfully I had a parts car in the same color, but getting the quarter panel back into shape was a new adventure in body work for me.

A couple years ago I needed to have a car shipped. That business is filled with unscrupulous assholes. I had one shipper reach out to me with a picture of a Tesla semi in his email sig. When I asked him if that was a picture of his truck, he said, ‘it sure is!’

I don’t love DRS, either. But here’s why I don’t think we’ve seen a situation where DRS was ‘a bit overpowered’: we never saw them trading positions lap after lap. If it was overpowered, I would think we’d see drivers be passed and then get the chance to get the position back on the next lap. 

Several years ago, I had a W210 wagon. We were in another state visiting family when the transmission started acting up. I took the car to a local ‘German car expert’ shop.

First, I hope the owners of the RV are compensated. I don’t want anybody to think I’m about to blame them. They rented to some shitbags and deserve to be made whole.

I have been fortunate to own several great cars. But the one I will miss the most, forever, is my race car. For those few seasons I competed, I got to experience actual race car thrills. It taught me so much and I will never forget what it felt like to control something just over its limits.

This is one of those situations where everybody involved is an asshole.

I don’t think Kyle is saying the sound of a car doesn’t matter. I think he’s saying that this one sounds different than the original engine doesn’t matter.

Oh yes, that will do. The LMH class has had a difficult gestation. I’ve been excited, then disappointed, then excited again. With cars rolling out, I’m hopeful.
