I went to the Harley-Davidson museum yesterday. Disclaimer: I really don’t like Harleys.

You’re missing the point, here. Trump may not be ‘accepting’ his salary, but we’re paying him way more by him spending so much time at his own properties. We pay him for the rooms his staff and security stay in. We pay him for what they eat.
This is precisely what I wonder, but expressed much more eloquently. Thank you.
Yeah, but I do think of the McLarry as being much more mass-produced and probably more usable every day than SCG’s cars. Maybe they have a similar brief, I don’t know. I don’t cross-shop these cars. ;)
James, I’m not an engineer. I’m just an amateur racer. I’m not used to seeing steel roll cages in carbon-tub race cars (LMP, DPI).
OMG the chanting and cheering in the background during qualifying is amazing.
The USS Karen would like to speak to your manager.
I really want to see follow-ups to these, telling us what they actually bought.
As Henry Rollins once said: ‘if you do the dick dance with an asshole, you are nothing but an asshole.’
I would totally drive a pink car. I have my kids finger-paint my race car before each race weekend, and my daughter uses as much pink as she can. I love it.
I had one of those, too. Comparing it to my 123, I suspect you may be right.
I used to do technical illustrations for Lockheed Martin.
I have a W123 wagon that’s been in my family since new. It is unstoppable and hilariously over-built. I suspect we could find a point in MB’s history where they stopped building cars the way they still build their trucks.
Gaze upon the source of your disappointment this year!
I’ll take this trend over coal-rolling in a heartbeat.
I agree with you. I am not so enamored with the idea of an ‘open-cockpit- car that I think we should keep making them just because we always have.
Dictators and their freaking missiles...
I was certain I was going to buy an 86. Before it had a name, I called it the ‘Toyota My-Next-Car.’
I’ve driven one of these. It was a Karmann Ghia. Odd. Not exactly...bad. Just weird, in an evolutionary dead-end kind of way.
Jesus Christ, he’s such an embarrassment.
