Oooooooooooooooo...same.
Oooooooooooooooo...same.
FWIW, my sister managed to score an absolutely lovely example of a Defender a few years back for not too many pounds and it’s served her quite well since then. Then again, she’s an RC-135 crew chief, so I imagine she can figure out any niggles on her own before they become too bad.
You may want to watch the episode again. Just a thought.
You aren’t wrong about that. I’ve never driven one, but from what I’ve seen over the years on Top Gear and such, AMGs have always been straight line monsters...not corner carvers.
I could be wrong, but that’s the impression I’ve always had.
Jeez. I couldn’t imagine being as unhappy of a human being than that MTG. It’s breathtaking, actually.
Had a great experience some years back when the S197 Mustang was brand new on the lots. Went to one of my local dealers in Sacramento, step-mother’s x-plan pin in hand on the off chance that the dealer would allow it on a new model. Much to my surprise, the manager was more than happy to let me use it, and on top of…
How DARE you speak ill of any film with the cojones to use such a prodigious amount of jazz flute throughout its runtime, heathen.
Ummm...what?
They have the training, confidence, and fucking courage to do that job...
Really surprised they didn’t do something with the notion of Egyptian gods and the fact that a character named God Butcher is coming.
One was the large emblem on the back of the kid’s jacket who yeeted himself off the cliff - that was a bust of Rama-Tut. This was confirmed by Diab in an interview that week.
I guess you missed the two separate Rama-Tut (Kang the Conquerer) references then?
Veteran here; can confirm.
Nearly 20 years after coming back stateside from being stationed in Japan for a decade, this is still true as hell:
Ugh. I take personal offense to “Veterans” and “The Military” being on this list, but sadly I fear that you are not wrong. Disgusting...and perhaps even embarrassing.
Actual sailor here...I loved Seaman. You can’t convince me otherwise. The end.
Something COMFORTABLE that you won’t mind spending ungodly amounts of time in. I was stationed in PH for two years, and roughly 1.7 of those were sitting in traffic...at least it felt that way at times.
FWIW, these are classified as ships by the IMO, and given the size and normal cruising height over the water, the surface search radars of the time would have little problem detecting these at over 20 miles out. Obviously, a higher antenna height of eye would yield a greater detection range. Sure, cruising at 280+ kts…
Glad to be of a small service if I can. There are a few others here who are deserving as well. Lots of good gouge floating around this one.
Not as much as you might think, especially with those dirty turbojets rolling coal.
