My mother-in-law tried to tell me I shouldn't invite kids to the wedding, leaving out my 6-month-old niece, so she could invite more of her friends. HELL NO. I have a ton of cousins and they have a ton of kids, so at my wedding of 70 there were probably 15 kids. It was awesome.

I'd like to think even the coyotes saw her and were like, "Nope. Let her go."

It didn't bother me until I started Game of Thrones over Thanksgiving, and now I'm sad. He's so pretty! Can't be he pretty AND nice??

Actually, my best friend from high school got pregnant in college and her boyfriend is a dick who had already put her through the ringer. They broke up shortly after and are now back together and between the kid and the boyfriend, seeing her is a challenge. This is partly why I'm concerned it will happen again.

Good to know. We've never really been partiers, but we would hang out all the time with our husbands and now I'm worried they'll only make time for other parents. But we'll see.

For her, that's not the case because I'm clingy and would totally hang out with her every day. But for this hypothetical person on Jezebel I offer my sympathies and a "People suck" and hope that helps.
