Sorry, I misunderstood. They look like 16" GM steel wheels used from 06-11 on the Malibu, HHR, Cobalt and G5. GM part no. 9597622

17" x 8" factory Ford Mustang GT alloy wheels. Fronts are from a 99-04 GT, rears are from a 96-98 GT. Both are missing the center cap.

Show some maturity and class and buy an e39 M5. $25k will get you a nice (not perfect) well-driven example. It ain’t gonna turn into a tent if you’re mature and take care of it. Set aside some of your budgeted money for repairs to keep it running well.

Disappointed I had to scroll so far down in the comments to find this.

What does this even mean? Emissions and such are blessings to this earth? Wut?

Prices on most things on BaT are out of control. But you’re right, prices on pristine (or even just really nice) TDs are stupid high. But this guy needs a beater. Finding a semi-rough example and putting a few thousand towards making it decent should be easily doable for under $10k.

As a delivery driver, you need something that will run for a million miles. Find one of these sexy ladies that’s been converted to run on vegetable oil and the greasy fried food smells on the outside of the car will pair nicely with the yeasty pizza dough smells on the inside.

More importantly, what happened with the lighting in the lead image? It’s hilariously bad. So bad in fact, it looks photoshopped. Or maybe it is photoshopped, but if so, why?

Correct. Another thing to keep in mind is that other tax credits get applied first to reduce tax liability before calculating the amount of the EV tax credit. Because of the recent changes in the tax code, this can have huge implications. As there are no longer personal/dependent exemptions, the child tax credit has

W211 E55. A super-low mileage, pristine example can be had for $35k. $25k will get you a very well-sorted example that you won’t feel bad about parking on the street. You won’t be left feeling unexcited.

Engine notes might have been fake, but I’m pretty sure that 27-speed transmission was real.

Not a bad suggestion, but not as lively a performer as you lead on. The wagons only came with a 2.4L 4-cylinder churning out 201hp/172tq. Never available with the 3.5L V6 with 280hp, unfortunately.

Non-M3 BMW e46. Even ZHPs can be had for under $15,000. Find a decently maintained one (for the love of god inspect the rear subframe) with a steptronic (not my cup o tea, but whatever), haggle your way into it for $10,000 or less, and sock the rest of the money away for repairs.

Just so you can update your talking points, the Golf is not VW’s worldwide top seller — the Tiguan is. And the US isn’t completely to blame for that. In 2018, the US bought less than 10% of VWs sold worldwide.

“...the most luxurious VW SUV ever.”

Word. I was ready to put down a deposit on one the moment pre-ordering becomes available and then I read that VW won’t be offering the ID3 in the US because....something something crossover.

Mazda 3. Done. Next question.
