I’d argue poor quality is always a management problem. In the sense that even if the workers are doing poor jobs, it’s because they’re not supervised and vetted properly.

My first car was a Vega. Forty years later, I have never owned another GM.
Have you heard of the Polaroid company?
Let’s suppose BMW keeps shooting themselves in the foot. They keep marching off the cliff till the company goes bankrupt. (I’ll assume the German gov wouldn’t prop them up even tho I’d call that result a given.)
On the other hand, he owns a known high-maintenance BMW, so he can’t be all THAT smart can he?
$215/hr is ‘reasonable’?
And it has been how long since the Model S has been out that there is STILL no death of Tesla, or no “real” manufacturer who has taken up the challenge to do it? I mean, it ain’t like they (“real manufacturers”) don’t have access to all of Tesla’s patents to build their own on that platform, make it better, and send…
Porsche and Tesla Model 3 owner.
I think both of you are correct, with maybe Torch having a (cynical yet probably realistic) slight edge. I mentioned this on the original Taycan post.. but if I’m making $250k a year.. then that extra $70k for (on paper) less performance and way less range matters to me. If I’m making $2.5M a year.. then I’m buying…
I’ll just put this here:
Why wouldn’t she?
A relative took his Tesla Model 3 to Brainerd Internationals Dragstrip. It ran 11.5 in the quarter mile at 100 ish MPH with him just pointing it down the strip. No fuss no drama. I would expect a lot higher MPH from the Vette
How does it make California hypocritical that they cannot regulate emissions in foreign waters?
I agree it’d be a more stable platform. It’s just that there’s no way CA is going to trust Trump to go through with it. He doesn’t negotiate in good faith when he’s talking to blue states. To him we’re barely part of the US, and since most of us didn’t vote for him, we don’t matter.
Mmmm, you sound like a tone-policing asshat. Democrats should work with the GOP?
*Why?*
“The left and right coasts” I know what you meant but this is the strangest way to reference the coasts, ever.
Ships have rules on reduce emissions too. Specially in California. Ships have to burn low sulphur fuel 12 miles out of the California coast, when alongside they are on shore electrical power with zero emissions or you get fined. By January 2020 they will have to use low sulphur everywhere even on the middle of the…
They did work together to simplify the regulations. California and the 12 states that follow California, along with 13 automakers, were in on the Obama agreement to increase fuel efficiency and emissions standards. That was working together to simplify the regulations.
Nice work ignoring all the facts and using reductionist logic to show your ignorance.
Totally - why bother trying to stop any air pollution unless you stop every single instance of it at once?
