Ri is an old form of measuring distance in Japan that would've been used back in the Edo period. Used in Japan it is/was about 2.44 miles. [en.wikipedia.org]

While I do really like the multitouch pad/screen, both for being on the side and bringing something new to the table for laptops, I don't think I'd pay 2800 even if I did have the cash. Why no SDD?

Very nice! At first I was a bit disappointed when it looked like it was leading up to Chell being able to run free that easily.

If bigger is better when it comes to mechs, then Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann wins because it's the size of a galaxy! =D

Hmm, let's see:

I remember I had finally collected all 152 Pokemon on Blue (got a Mew from a friend that had used a gameshark to get them and caught a Missingno through glitches). somewhere near 200 hours put into the game. Turned on my Game Boy and the save was gone, no reason it disappeared whatsoever... Put me off Pokemon for a

I completely agree. While it'd be nice to have a portable MGS3, I'm currently not looking at buying this game because of the issues with compression.

I think it was SMB1...I remember getting an NES for christmas when i was 7 ('90) and it came with SMB / duck hunt. Can't remember playing any games before then.

Yeah, the GBA & DS sonic games have actually stayed pretty decent.

Thank you good sir.

Jugg(alo)shep? Hold on a minute, I need to wash out my eyes with acid.

23rd is the first day of fall actually. the last full day of summer is Sept 22. Equinox is at 9:04AM UTC on 9/22, which makes all but two hours and four minutes of 9/23 in PDT fall =O

Yeah, a game that was crammed onto a 4.7GB DVD is now being scaled to fit on a 2GB cartridge...hopefully they're still working on fixing stuff like inconsistent texture compression...
