Leave earlier.

I think they’re trying to stop people killing each other.

Yeah, but they also have functional public transit which does a lot of legwork re drunk driving.

Hell here in Austin, we have an 85 mph stretch of highways and everyone is doing 95-100 safely on those!

You can be as much of an idiot as you want in private, but when you are in public it makes you a danger to myself and others. Just no.

Be as stupid as you like on your own property, when you aren’t putting the lives of others at risk. You have every right to pursue your own happiness, until it puts the life or liberty of others at risk.

one word: dopamine

That’s not what happened. The screws were not “overlooked” or “allowed to slide”

Yeah and I’m not happy about it. How else am I supposed to let the world know I identify with Mac’s mom?

Depends on the OEM, group and location. In a bigger metro for a good OEM you could make $200k as a salesperson. But you are working A LOT. I would say in a decade most salespeople would average $80k or so if you worked in a decent market for a decent OEM and group. There are so many variables to that job it is hard to

I’m saying this both as a former game developer and as someone who pirated a lot in my past: you’re not entitled to take

“Got comfortable” and “Begrudgingly accepted the lack of alternatives” are two very different things.

Future? Digital has been a thing for almost twenty years at this point and PC has been all-digital for well over a decade. It’s been pretty great, actually. The PC game market has never been stronger and there are a ton of games that simply wouldn’t exist if games were still chained to retail.

The movie and game rental market in the US has been thriving and "a thing" for decades. We don't need to get used to the idea of "not owning a game".

Clearly people are ok with not owning their games or media and this is not new - renting was obviously massively popular pre-streaming.
