When she reported the story it was not known that Probst was hit intentionally. She reported the facts of the day. It wasn’t until the video came out 12 days later that it was known to be intentional. Would you rather speculation?

I legit feel like anybody who believes a single word of any comedian’s set, no matter what kind of jokes they’re telling, do not have correctly calibrated expectations.

He went on Marc Maron’s podcast and told this lie, in an interview setting, not a stand up context.

“Credible” is in quotation marks because it is a quote. It’s a basic tenet of responsible reporting - a news organization reporting on breaking news cannot be the arbiter of truth, they can merely report on facts. In this case, they cannot determine the validity of the claim that it was “credible” but they can report…

If I were Unity. I would understand that changing my policies as a direct response to “credible” threats sets a very dangerous precedent.
