The problem with quotas is that police officers are used as modern day tax collectors. The police force should be used to uphold the law not to bring in revenue. When you force them to bring in a certain amount of revenue or lose their job then enforcing the law comes second to bringing in revenue.

Not all sunglasses are created equal. I gladly pay $100 for my Vaurnet sunglasses and not other glasses block the sun as well as they do. In some cases you are only paying for the name brand but with Vaurnet you are paying for the quality.

@papayalily: I like the salt and pepper analogy. I love black pepper and if I cook I will not use a lot because I know everyone does not like it as much as I do. Am I insulting myself if I pepper the food that I cooked?

I like sushi but avoid it because I have a strong gag reflex. Sometimes I end up gagging on tasty raw salmon. Is there some way order sushi in half size or something like that? I gag while brushing behind my back teeth so this is not something I will be able to get over.

@suburbancowboy: I live in Houston so our public transportation is a joke and a car is mandatory. You can get decent used cars with 100K on them and they should last for another 100K. A car does nothing but drop in value while you pay off the interest on the loan.
