Now here you are on point: I still consider Saturn controller (“JP/Eur”, as you said) to be the best of it’s time and still is the best non-analogue controller ever made.

That’s not a very good argument, is it? An exclusive is an exclusive, if it is available on another gaming platform, it’s not an exclusive - you owning the other platform doesn’t factor in the exclusivity. Sure, if *you* only play on consoles, *you* may never consider the PC, but that’s a personal scenario. PCs do…
Sorry, but’ll have to strongly disagree. I love boardgames (have played more than 200 of them), also love Game of Thrones, but that “Game of Thrones the Board Game” is simply awful! Its one of the worse territory control games I ever played. Stay away, people, nothing to see here! If anyone is looking for an amazing…
I’ll always have Lunar: The Silver Star (SEGA CD) in my heart as one of my most formative, nostalgic and favorites RPGs. I grew up with it and a few others that, to me, are as important as Lunar:
- Phantasy Star 1 and 4
- Secret of Mana
- Wild ARMs
- Chrono Trigger
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
Never had any contact with the PSP version and wasn’t aware they changed the music for it. That being said, yes, I preffer the older “boat song”, but the new one isn’t bad. :)
Because of the “free market” they love so much over there
Digital games deliver less: your friends can’t borrow, you can’t resell, you’re locked into a platform/account, if there’s a change in the rights you may lose access to the game, they cost less to the publishers, etc... If they want to deliver me less, they’ll have to charge me less. If it’s the same price or if the…
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for Phantasy Star V. One should never lose hope, after all, we recently got Streets of Rage 4. Who who saw that coming?
You made me wish I was your thesis advisor.
It’s nice to see some good old common sense on EA. I didn’t get a single one of their Origin exclusive games and cannot say I missed them. Sure, there were games I’d like to play, like Dragon Age Inquisition and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, but there was no lack os substitutes to play on Steam.
“But considering the alternative was to just sit around for months and not release anything, I guess I get the decision to create an animated finale”. Yeah, I don’t. We always wait months between seasons - sometimes more than a year, depending on the show - why rush and release something like this?
That’s not “tapioca”, let alone “authentic” tapioca. Using cassava starch as a gelatinous agent does not make the product “tapioca”. If you guys want to see what an “authentic tapioca” is, you need to visit the city of Olinda, on the Brazilian state of Pernambuco
There is no shortage of great, of amazing games to play. If a game comes with that many strings attached, it’s time to find something else to play.
While not the topic of the post at all, if we have to talk about old Blizzard games, we have to, at least, make a random mention about Rock’n’Roll Racing. I still play it at least once every year, mostly with friends.
Holding pieces of the past to the same ethical and cultural standards of today is a mistake and will almost always cause more harm than good. Even the wokest of the woke may, in the future, be judged by the expectations yet to be developed, and attitudes we consider exemplary now, may be seem as an emmbarrassment.
Well, considering both were the same console, that wasn’t really an awful choice. It’s only slightly worse than the “PS4 and PS4 Pro” pair and actually a lot better than the “Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X” trio.
Oh, so many! But the top ten on my list:
- Persona 4
- Persona 5
- The Witcher 2
- The Witcher 3
- Torment: Tides of Numenera
- Pillar of Eternity 2
- Tyranny
- Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake
- Beyond: Two Souls
- GTA V
I believe this is the first time I ever read the sacrilege of saying that DA3 is a better game than the first one.
Ahhh, Switch! We need more Initiatives like it, and less, much less, like the Stadia.
I’ve been wanting to buy one of those for a long time, unfortunately, Valve just ignored people abroad.
