I mean, the overarching problem is that we have a culture where men have trouble finding a community of friends who care about them. But if TikTok is how he was able to find one, then more power to him.

Any time someone implies that inclusion is bad, I read it as an invitation to treat them like dog shit every possible moment.

That’s the key difference I tend to see in the arguments put forward by WFH advocates and some (though, in fairness, not all) in-office advocates.

I can’t see him having the attention span to watch “Hidden Figures” in the first place, unless they were showing it on a flight to Cancun. 

1) It isn’t up to your coworkers to be your friends.  Make friends in other ways. 2) It’s still very, very easy to have a connected, collaborative environment remotely.  I built an entirely new team during the quarantine and using the tools available ensured they had a robust team culture and were able to feel very
