Considering that Nashville is like a five hour drive away, that seems pretty fucking crazy. People really travel over 300 miles for their night on the town? Nothing wrong with the occasional weekend getaway though, I suppose.

Re: The early fan questioning if Sam Bradford has a girlfriend. Apparently he does, and she is just as goofy looking as he is. She also looks like she isn't a huge fan of eating.

ya rly

I smiled

"if a doberman was chasing you with a gun, you wouldn't have time to stretch."

I didn't know the sweater-around-the-waist deal was still a thing. Bringin' it back?!

Arrgh, too soon.

Vintage 1950's Civil Rights Movement, woo!

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! Two fans in the article harped on the jersey color thing, and I'm guessing there are a good bit more who do. What's up with that?

But don't worry, you're contributing so much.

The DH 'position' is beyond lame. If you play baseball, you should go up to hit! And I agree that it neuters half the game's strategy. The 9 spot isn't a wasted at-bat, it's just one where the manager actually has to make a tough decision, boo hoo!

That was beautiful. Well, it was actually terrifying, but beautifully put.

Well, considering how many apologists, naive dumbasses, and plain racists have come out of the woodwork to rationalize it all, I'd say your (noble) hope for a sober dialogue may be half wishful thinking, half pipe dream. Too many people emotionally invested in the status quo, too many people with their own insane

I've never heard that saying, but as a native Alabamian, it seems to fit for a lot of people.

You're just no fun at all

The only thing more terrifying than this kind of behavior from the police, is peoples' glib acceptance of it.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Covering your eyes will not make a problem go away. Bear witness to it.

Aww, but if you can't pass the burden onto the people with the least amount of power to do anything about it, who can you pass the burden onto?

tl;dr
