The lack of an Irish stereotype was pretty glaring. Glad they fixed it

Papa John’s is only acceptable when you’re in college and it’s ordered for a class or an event. At that point you can’t do anything about it so you may as well just accept that it’s kind of pizza and just get on with it.

I think this was a case of him falling into the kind of trap we all have at one point or another. The fact is he’s an old man who probably hasn’t thought about this kind of stuff all that seriously until pretty recently. Honestly the biggest strike against him in my mind is that he’s done nothing, from what I can see,

No. I like my name but I want to change it one of these days. If he becomes commissioner i could be stuck like this for years

I think we’d all like that

I remember going up to my cousin’s apartment in Evanston to watch the game that night and we both audibly gasped when they showed him during warmups.

Pretty sure the mics picked up at least one “GIMME THAT SHIT” in every game Carlos Boozer ever played

I dunno. Be hopeful that some of these people might end up out on their asses, but I wouldn’t have any expectation of them seeing the inside of a jail cell anytime soon. Just not how things work in Washington.

I always thought of him as more of a keep to his own swamp in peace type.

All I want is for him to take his money, settle down, and make a profession out of podcasting about books or something. All the books in the world for Andrew.

Don’t they call it the “wave of death” because so many accidents happen when a well-meaning person waves someone through an intersection when they shouldn’t?

Well, if it makes a difference, Michael Jackson never admitted to anything nor had it proved against him in court. And the fact that he’s dead now means any money he makes goes to his kids (among others), who as far as I know haven’t done anything wrong. I dunno sometimes you can’t rationalize the shit you like.

I know, I just always thought it was kind of specific to Wrigley. Haven’t though about it much as an adult cause I never sit anywhere that I might catch a ball. I’m a Cubs fan but mostly grew up in Wisconsin and I don’t recall anyone throwing a ball back at County Stadium or Miller Park in all the games I’ve seen at

I always thought that was a tradition in specific places rather than MLB-wide. When I was a kid I remember it was an imperative at Wrigley Field.

No.

I think it’s IU.

Really? I mean I guess I never thought about it too much but I always knew he was a sharp guy, and there’s no one in the booth right now with more experience in how the NFL operates today, so I guess I can’t say I’m surprised that he’s the best color guy out there.

I will almost guarantee it. Even when it’s completely obvious they never say the word until its confirmed that they’re “being checked for a concussion.” I remember when Kuechly got hit last year and was crying they talked about his emotion and not about the fact that a concussion can make you spontaneously cry.

I happened to catch some on TV the other day (it was on Disney XD and the channel had been on because my daughter like’s DuckTales) and I couldn’t follow a lick of it. I watch a fair amount of Overwatch streaming, but that’s following a single player

Well being completely honest, trump got me. I didn’t vote for Hillary for Hillary’s sake, I voted for her because I saw trump as an existential threat and I live in a swing state.
