Probably they will, but I’m just trying to point out that it’s not as simple as “choosing” to see the truth when everything is aligned toward actively preventing you from doing that. That’s not how information works, I’m sorry.

Which they bloody well should, but it contributes to the fact that we simply can’t conceive of what’s really going on when this stuff happens.

I don’t think it’s quite that sinister. We’ve been conditioned to not viewing it that way to the point that we’re only JUST NOW starting to figure it out. I think it’s just a simple case of not really being able to empathize with things you can’t really understand (most of us are not doctors or athletic trainers) that

I mean there are a lot of other reasons that team completely blows, and I’m a Bears fan. Or was.

Didn’t some goober actually ask David Johnson about the impact of his injury on fantasy a couple of weeks ago? To me that, as somebody who picked him 1st in a league and is probably going to go down in flames, was absolutely disgusting.

That’s the exact sort of loophole that i hope someone tries to exploit

Neither will kneeling at the anthem now that it’s been completely neutered by Jerry Jones et al

“The memo also suggests teams might prepare a video tribute or public service announcement featuring ‘team leadership speaking about the issues they care about.’”

I think this is a relatively smart move by the NBA. It avoids the biggest controversy without stopping the players from demonstrating in other ways or talking about what they want to talk about. NBA has always been fairly canny in its handling of social issues I think because of the more broadly liberal fanbase

Tooth and Tail! I think I’m getting better

Totally normal thing that happens in a normal game played by normal people.

That was not his shoulder, my dude.

That’s the theory that was used to prosecute doctors at any rate. I don’t think there’s any question that some have been over-prescribing (there’s a good documentary about this on Netflix) but I’m not certain that the equation is so simple as ran out of prescription -> illegal stuff. A lot of people probably start

I think that’s the larger point he was trying to make. We also saw ty Montgomery break his damn ribs in this game and how many other “minor” injuries

Between that and the revelation that he seriously considered dropping his titles I think that’s all we need to know

You know what? I make a big deal out of making sure that this is recorded on my DVR every single October, and every single time I think “Boy that isn’t as good as I remembered it” hence not actually buying it and going through the whole cycle again every single year

My understanding is that they actually have jerseys on standby so they don’t have to kick people out, but if you refuse to wear it they’ll ask you to move.

Don’t the Arizona Diamondbacks do something like this? If you want to sit in the seats that are right behind the plate (visible on camera) you have to wear Diamondbacks gear or at least you can’t wear anything from the opposing team?

Depends on the level you play at. After playing this game for a bit I have noticed that it does tend to come down to sheer weight of numbers. Actual strategy is limited because your unit movements are limited to “all of your guys” or “all of this type of guy.” There are counters to certain units, guys who are better

Goddamn son of a bitch fuck hell I hate where I live fuck shit
