why would the US Government still be distributing those medias to schools when they are actively hunting him?

I’ve had positive interactions even in this thread. It’s really just you objecting to my style that’s been negative, and that could have been avoided if you’d followed your own advice of not engaging with something you already know you don’t like.

Oh no, I’m putting my chips on the same number you are - I’m just doing so with my hand over my eyes, peaking through my fingers a bit (on this costume issue).

I dunno - I have many interactions with people of color, including Latinos, and I could see my loudmouth sarcastic self misphrasing an idea in this way. In fact, I’ve done so.

It’s pretty clearly established that the Doctor has no direct control over his regenerated form, as he’s surprised by it every time. There’re indications that he might b directing it subconsciously somehow, but he’s not “choos(ing) to regenerate into a man repeatedly”.

Nice rundown.

Thanks so much for the primer on how to communicate my own thoughts and feelings. I’ll be sure to avoid hyperbole in all my future internet comments. Any other well-established literary conventions or rhetorical tools you’d like me to avoid because they’re “not your cup of tea”? Sarcasm, perhaps?

“if it insults your sensibilities don’t go see it.”

I think the jungle attack scene is from early on, which is why it’s the CW suit, but he changes suits. I’m actually somewhat annoyed at how much studios redesign the suits between movies for little in-world reason. Just somewhat- it’s not a big deal. I simply think consistency has it’s own value, and the impulse to

Did Spidey push BP back, too? I thought it was just CM. If so, they really did just move all the furniture around for him, becuase I think these are the only two Phase III pics that weren’t sequels or already into production when they got the Spidey deal.

I don’t see how what he intended was at all racist. It doesn’t claim that inherent differences between races determine cultural or individual achievement, or that his own race is superior, or that anyone else’s is inferior. Nor does it endorse any government or social system flowing from such an idea. That’s

Fidelity to the comics doesn’t equal good translation. Different mediums have different needs. I’ve discussed exactly how quite a bit.

No, I’m getting it. Read through my actual comments. They are showing us what they want us to see.

Oooh- that’d be really cool. And we may yet see something like that! It’d make total sense.

you mean the dude who thought that placing this piece on The Root, first would be “ghettoized”

So falling back on shitty designs is going to be a theme of Marvel Phase III? I don’t care how it’s justified in the film, this is a worse design, and if they want him in T’Chaka’s suit, then T’Chaka’s suit should be awesome, too.

So I agree that I think the woven texture design of the Civil War suit is better, but the suit we saw in Civil War was literally ALL cgi. Not touched up, not adding in details. It was ALL cgi. Yes there was a practical suit on him but you never once see any of it in the film.

No, that’s most definitely not at all what his suit looks like before CGI.

I hope you’re right. I know that they do a lot in post. But they also spend considerable effort on making costumes and sets that look something like the result they want. We know they made multiple BP suits for Boseman and for stunt doubles, and we know what those looked like. Yeah, they got tweaked and polished,

Alright. I am once again going to flog my own commentary on the first suit from CA:CW, because I just straight can’t understand how the same team that gives us such depth and richness in every sense, served up with badass sauce here:
