Nope.
Nope.
No, that’s the earlier version of the suit, probably from the very beginning of the movie. This design is different- very different. The pattern on the suit I might give you: but the neckline, the pattern on the face, the size and shape of the eyes and virtually every other silver detail, even the shape of the mask? …
Ah. She’s T’Challa’s step mother, as I’m sure has already been pointed out.
I don’t even know what that sentence means, um... Mask.
Scroll up!!!
They already swapped Spidey for Captain Marvel.
How come you don’t have more stars?!!?!?
Possibly. I’ve got my criticisms, but the amount of high-difficulty shit they pulled off here is staggering. I’ll forgive them “meh” performances on some of the basics for that.
Aw SHIT!
Oh, yeah? My wife is willing to fight you over that.
It’s the fictional culture of a fictional nation that they very much want to instantly read as African, so I’m sure that’s intentional. It’s not like they’re making a movie about Gambia and pulling in visual references to Somalia. Or like they’re making a movie about either of those real places at all.
Clearly not RDJ’s intent. If he had said, “Just putting together a phrase like ‘cultural genocide’ in a second language shows how bright he is.” there would have been no controversy- or at least much less. And I do think that’s much more what he meant: a sarcastic swipe at the phrase and its speaker, not at Mexicans…
No, he’s def. playing dumb. T’Challa and Nakia (?) are right there, and he knows that- he’s just the frontman becuase Klaw isn’t supposed to know it. And Ross doesn’t look happy to hear what he knows about Wakanda, either (thugh that could be edit).
Apparently, it is indeed more difficult to talk or eat and drink. My acceptance of cultural difference stops at functional mutilation - and that includes the remnants of it in my own culture (which are thankfully few and slight, but still undesirable).
yeah- money’s on Nakia and Shuri.
Well, this movie has a clip of BP fighting in the jungle wearing the good Civil War costume, which I assume happens before he swaps for the shitshow worn through most of this (otherwise excellent) trailer.
You make art with the material you’ve got, and you adjust as you go. I strongly suspect that had Berry been delivering better, there would have been a lot more Storm in the final cut: rumor is that lots of her stuff got left on the editing room floor. Like context for that weird lightning line she gives Toad.
Look around here in these comments, the world still act like they don’t give a fuck
No. It’s a way of forcing Basset into looking at least somewhat her age so she can pass for Boseman’s mom without folks laughing.
Yeaaaaah, no. The design itself is utter shit compared to Civil War’s.
