But, if the air that is being replaced is coming from the interior of your house that is warm, this doesn't work. I keep my fan by the window, pointed at the bed, this blows cold air on me, so I don't care what the temperature is in the rest of the room.

I switched to Ally a few years ago, and I generally like it. Depositing large checks (more than $10k, like from an inheritance or other windfall) can be a pain, though. If you do this regularly, you might want to look into a bank that has actual branches for taking deposits.
