Fair enough point, however I think it might be safe to assume that if someone more...honorable (?) had received the money from the BIA for services or Native Americans, then the Tribes would have gotten $1m worth of services.

No way I'm funding this kickstarter. It'll probably get bought by Facebook for $2b and all I'll have is my crappy book.
Two people have died building the 49ers new stadium in Santa Clara.
typical libertarian thinking going on here.
My wife got a new Moto X, off-contract, on January 27th. On February 24th, she dropped it and cracked the screen. I called the credit card company and they have a 120-day, $500 (up to $50,000 total) purchase protection plan. If you break your phone within 4 months of buying it, this is definitely the way to go. They…
Freakonomics took a look at this same subject a week or so ago, and with the same data, came to the opposite result, though mostly from a societal perspective. Given the amount of time people spend in secondary and high school learning a foreign language, their economists concluded it was not worth it for us to be…
No Brett Favre jokes? I'm disappointed, deadspin commenters.
100 times better, maybe, but also 25% smaller.
Hi Donna,
You are assuming there are choices in a robust, competitive marketplace. Dropbox might change if lots of people left, but other industries (internet, for one) has no competition, so there is no option to "vote with your wallet".
Actually, one might argue that the stupid and lazy (and young, and infirm, etc) are exactly the types of people that our laws are meant to protect.
I think it might be a better idea to simply petition your state government to pass a law that simply states that consumers/customers are always entitled to choose between arbitration or a state court.
I accidentally clicked this, but figured I'd keep the comment.
It looks like early adopters are also early....nevermind

This is not just an NFL locker room. It is also a workplace, and everyone deserves not to be harassed in their workplace. In any other job, Incognito would have been fired for 1/100th of the things he's done here, and Martin could sue the shit out of the organization (which he should do in this case, as well).
Exactly. The bottom line is that this is a workplace, and frankly, if this happened anywhere except an NFL team, Martin could sue the shit out of the organization, and Incognito would be fired for doing 1/100th of the things he's done here.
Shame on you for embedding an auto-play video in your comment. That is despicable.
We're on the same page here, I was pointing these out to the OP.
I would like to point you to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the United Negro College Fund.
