Casval Rem Deikun

His father is assassinated by political opponents who then use his image to further their agenda. He serves them for years before he finally has his revenge, but by that time he's suffered so much that he can't let old wounds heal.

Vinland Saga is so amazing. If I may nominate a character from another Makoto Yukimora series:

Owen looks like a generic corporate kid-hating villain from a 90s movie in this pic.

Like I said, I won't deny the case with Eragon. But it should then be pointed out that A New Hope is The Hidden Fortress.

Am I the only person who loves Unseen Academicals? Maybe it helps if you're a soccer fan.

I'm not going to deny the similarities between Eragon and Star Wars, but there's something else to point out here.

The original Star Wars movies follow an archetypal Heroic cycle. Anything using that traditional archetype will resemble them.

It was the same for me. I was watching it in reruns on the early Toonami block, and most of my friends preferred Dragonball Z. So I'd bother my parents for hours recounting what had happened that day on Robotech.

Non sequitor, my favorite thing is to chew out people who try to correct me on the name of the show. I

Thank you, I was coming to make sure Roy got his due. I don't know about the rest of you, but I saw this series right as I was entering 6th grade and puberty. Roy was without a doubt my favorite character, and when he died I was devastated. I always felt like I grew up a little with that episode.

And I'll point out that it does get talked about still, at least if you read Green Lantern comics.

I don't see the two as exclusive

Iago is the greatest villain of all time

Let me help you Blizzard. Stop all this globe-trotting, outdoor environments bs. Just make a catacomb/tomb/sewer/hellpit that goes down 50 levels and is actually different every time. This can be accomplished with randomly generated, interchangeable dungeon tiles, much like you see tabletop gamers using. Suddenly,

Now playing

I can watch the Disney version of Robin Hood endlessly, mostly because Peter Ustinov was incredible as Prince John.

Kampfer is a sexy machine. It's probably my favorite model in my collection behind the classic Red Zaku II.

UC or nothing. I personally collect Zeonic suits above all else, and the quickest way to my wallet is to make any kit in Red Comet colors.

Oh crap you must want me to cry

I'll give you that about Voyager. I still think it gets undeserved hate, but I know in the first few seasons if I see the words "holodeck" in the synopsis then I just skip it.

After you've been around people who speak German for a while, you'll actually notice how much like English it sounds. The main difference I always notice (as a speaker of both languages), is that German words tend to come down harder on consonants. But really, listen to the WAY Germans talk. The syntax and cadence

I'm an army kid, kinda lost my accent getting moved around. I lived in Oklahoma, Texas, NY, and North Carolina and have a pretty neutral accent according to most people I meet. The one thing apparently missing from my accent is Upper Midwest, because the first time I was in Iowa (where I go to school) people looked

I'd also like to nominate any time a season ended teasing a big climactic battle.
