OK, Trebek is one cool cat and should be respected as such. However, the other things you cite should be complete non-issues. Denying others chances to get ahead is part of the game. Who cares what he looks like?

This "strategy" is completely irrelevant if his opponents would buzz in faster and answer more questions correctly.

Don't hate the player hate the game would be the most appropriate thing for this one. He figured out something that works, that other people hadn't thought of or understand and they're mad/jealous about it. It's working out for this guy and I hope he keeps it going.
