Reports from last years Vmax 200 is that the One:1 is now making 1400+hp.
It’ll certainly be the fastest lap ever attempted entirely in first gear.
GeigerCars might be the biggest but not the only one, as everyone can import cars from the US to Germany and many did. BTW: Geiger’s showroom is atm completely clogged up with Hellcat Challengers anyway :)
I was going to make a joke about a PT Cruiser being involved, but I read someone got hurt bad. :/
What? Dude! You need to announce these things in advance. I’ve been travelling from Sweden to Detroit for the world congress every year since I started working in the automotive industry. Every year it’s been mind-numbingly boring, and this is the first year that I gave it a pass.
Whatever you do, please don’t suggest adding a wet bar to the glovebox or a fleshlight to the trunk. These are tired advancements that never work out for the benefit of mankind.
I creeped through your history. You called a Subaru Legacy wagon “perfect”. Your judgement on styling is questionable at best.
I saw this yesterday and was pretty floored by it. While I’m a Ford fan, I’m assuming this is due to pent-up demand and not a trend that will continue for more than a month or two, much like how the 5th-gen Camaro outsold the Mustang for a few months when it first released.
Though I’m curious, will Ford sell a special…
Anyone with an IQ over 80 can understand that correlation does not equal causation. Unbelievable. Even if this was valid, it’s not the speed that caused the deaths, it’s the shockingly low standards with which people are allowed to drive and the resulting otherwise avoidable “accidents.” Maybe we should lower the…
When I was young and stupid, I used to look for a free parking spot near the entrance of the mall, like all the other morons still do... so once I saw a woman standing in the middle of an empty spot, and when I told her to move away she said: “I’m saving it for my husband!”...to which I replied: “And since I’m single,…
“Saving” spots just makes parking shortages worse, because now as well as the spaces occupied by cars, there are otherwise-usable spaces occupied by somebody who knows somebody who has a car that they’ll bring Really Soon Now.
I assure you there is nothing strange about that corner at all. It’s a relatively consistent radius (albeit w/ little to no camber) that is a borderline sweeper.
Manufacturing jobs are leaving the country because Americans don’t want to do them. People in America aren’t interested in welding, machining, or assembly. Media has led a 30 year war on blue collar jobs to it’s at the point where high school kids feel like you are an absolute failure if you take a blue collar job.…
I myself think it’s better for those jobs to go to México and not China. A stronger México reduces illegal immigration, crime, drugs and that can only be good for the US. Also México will more likely buy those same cars theybare making. Win win for both countries.
Can we stop pretending that Change.org petitions actually mean anything?
I came across a post on a MB forum a year or so ago, about someone who was involved in an accident involving a CL and a stretch limo and was in the process of trying to sue Mercedes as they felt the restraint system in AMG CLs and SLs were insufficient because they had sustained some serious injuries in the accident.…
my time to shine!!! I worked for *INSERT OEM HERE* as a release engineer for weatherstrips, and DLO’s those chrome strips around the windows are not so easy to change color, they aren’t like a bumper, or insert on the side of the car. they are almost always stainless steel or aluminum usually stretch-bent or stamped.…
RAM - it’s just the name of the truck, not a request!!!
