Sir, I like your writing style. My Northeast Ohio year-around DD is a 2013 Chevy Sonic hatch, purchased new and Ziebart-rustproofed and paint protected. Your choice of a DD is surely way more...upscale.
Maybe I’m a contrarian, maybe I’m a fascist centrist, but here:
I mentor a kid who is a race and gender studies student at the school
$10 million was what they sued for, not what they offered.
They didn’t offer him much. They went from low ball to sue. This was an ego match. Could have been avoided with a proper offer in the first place.
Those Nissan managers are just plain stupid.
I have found that drivers in Los Angeles and Seattle are very skilled drivers that are just horrible human beings. Way too fast, way too close, but a really high number of miles are driven accident-free.
They hate coming to Minneapolis because it’s too cray in the city. They like their wide open spaces and huge margins for error. At least this applies to my in-laws who treat every visit to Minneapolis like it’s going to New York. But when we (Minnesotans) visit Iowa, we drive slower/better than Iowans because we don’t…

I’m not forcing anyone to “shrug it off” when I say it, because I have never met a person who felt there was anything to shrug off about it. The history of…
Hmm... So it’s better to limit free speech by taking away words and phrases because someone else will have hurt feelings? Or have to deal with something they don’t want to?
Demeaning and hateful words that have a century+ separating them from being offensive and hateful to the present day.... you should go chill to Justin Trudeau with this bullshit.
“Coloured people don’t like Little Black Sambo. Burn it. White people don’t feel good about Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Burn it. Someone’s written a book on tobacco and cancer of the lungs? The cigarette people are weeping? Bum the book. Serenity, Montag. Peace, Montag.”
OR... people like you could just kill yourselves. The world would be happier that way.
When you have to inform people about the “racist” origins of certain phrases, then they are likely no longer offensive or racist in meaning. So there’s really no reason to police them in the first place, unless you’re just looking for attention.
