Serious question: does anybody know why all these MLM companies can claim they aren’t pyramid schemes? I just don’t get it. Their business models are the literal definition of pyramid schemes, which are illegal. How can these companies legally exist? What insane loophole are they using?

LuLaRoe is the definition of a pyramid scheme. Also, it is completely unethical and shady to make people who want to sell your product purchase tens of thousands of dollars of merchandise up front and also not let them choose what merchandise they receive to sell.

I agree with your assessment of this person in general but agree with Jane’s advice. If you are truly repentant and cheated once (not multiple times), don’t tell them. The cheater should feel guilty and like shit, but not dump shit feelings on another.
